Sharing Our Blessings With Those In Need This Holiday Season

The holiday season reminds us of just how blessed we are, and how sharing just a bit of those blessings can impact someone else’s life.

The organization helps lay wreaths all across America and abroad at the graves of fallen American soldiers. Anyone can join by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or partnering with them on National Wreaths Across America Day (16th Dec) and every day

“Creating an environment where the families impacted by autism feel supported and without judgment is the primary CAN mission”.

The life of people with autism is unpredictable, and so it is for the people around them.

The world can always do with a little more love, a little more care and lots of compassion.

Whether big or small, you can help to put a smile on the face of someone who really needs it.

Sharing Our Blessings With Those In Need This Holiday Season

At this time of year, we often reflect on just how blessed we truly are. And in the spirit of the season, we take this opportunity to share those blessings with those in our community and around us. This year, we’d like to highlight two charities that are close to our hearts, and encourage you to make a difference in someone else’s life this season.

Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that helps honor the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation and for freedom. The organization helps lay wreaths all across America and abroad at the graves of fallen American soldiers. Anyone can join by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or partnering with them on National Wreaths Across America Day (16th Dec) and every day. Their motto is ‘Remember, Honor, Teach.’

This charity is close to our hearts because our founder’s-Ken Van Heyningen-father is buried at Arlington, and he understands how important the wreath laying is for the families of fallen soldiers. In our endeavor to pay our respects and honor our fallen soldiers, Coastal Transformations reached out to Wreaths Across America and donated to the cause. Contributing to Wreath Across America is “a way of giving back to the community and also honoring those who stood for freedom and made the ultimate sacrifice.”

Another charity that is close to our hearts is Champion Autism Network (CAN). CAN is a nonprofit autism awareness organization founded in 2012 in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. “Creating an environment where the families impacted by autism feel supported and without judgment is the primary CAN mission”.

The life of people with autism is unpredictable, and so it is for the people around them.

CAN’s goal is to create and ensure inclusive communities where all people CAN happily live, work and play, by building a world-wide network of autism champions including businesses, local nonprofits and individuals with autism.

The world can always do with a little more love, a little more care and lots of compassion. Upon a chance meeting, Ken decided to give back the love received by donating for a silent auction to help CAN in their mission. This is just a small token of Coastal Transformations' gratitude for all the blessings that we have received over the years.

This holiday season, we invite you to join in the spirit of giving and spread a little love in whatever way you can. Whether big or small, you can help to put a smile on the face of someone who really needs it.

 Happy Holidays from Coastal Transformations!
